Alphabet cereal where to buy

Now it tatses like a private label copycat version and i am not impressed. Will never be buying this product again. Not worth the calories anymore. I agree, the new alpha bits are horrible will never buy them again. Please bring back the old alpha bits. The people making alphabets need to get their shit together!! It used to be the best cereal ever!!! I see it says new and improved so I got excited and bought it thinking it would be the the old school alphabets and to my disappointment it was even worse than before!!

Change it back!!!! We are in our 60s and have eaten Alphabets our whole life we tried the new ones and will never buy them again did they not learn anything from the Coke fiasco?? Bland and air filled mess that turns to a discussing goo in your mouth. I am 58 and loved alphabits all my life. The new version sucks. I will not buy anymore and will not buy any post products. Bring back my Alphabits! Distrusting gross will never buy again same wit honey comb ruined as well.

Idiots ruined a perfect cereal. These are terrible. I was telling my wife how good they were, and we got a box so she could try them. That the heck? I was so upset I marched to the Great Oracle, Google, to ask what had happened maybe a localized space-time anomaly cast me into an alternate universe which reversed good and bad? Who Googles about a cereal on a Sunday morning??? But this was seriously bad — a stark contrast to its previous amazingness.

Yes, definitely. In fact, it is no longer recognizable. Not hardly. Its sad to see something great reach such a declined state, and it would be an act of mercy to let it die now and burry it very deep. It is horrible. No taste. One full box thrown in the garbage.

What a shame. Why do you companies keep changing your products??? I have looked in Walmart and find nothing. Where can I get them? I was so horrified. I loved it crispy and small. It stayed crunchy. I emailed Post and received a reply that told me that they are always looking to improve their product and did this because of customer demand. Not happy, Post Cereal. I bought 2 boxes of alpha bits because I saw new and improved, no way it is! I too bought 2 boxes of Alphabits since I had not had them in ages and was worried about not seeing them again.

They are terrible as the review states. I may give 2nd box to the birds. If you can hear us POST listen up. Your target consumer! I refuse to buy the new and improved version cuz it sucks. The cereal was not improved at all.

They taste awful. Post just killed a good cereal to bring a lame version of a nice and sweet cereal. They should look back into one of the biggest marketing mistakes in history: Coca Cola.

When is Post going to realize their mistake and give us back the regular Alphabits?? I have eaten regular AlphaBits everday, for years, yet I cannot stomach the new Alphabits. Why would they ruin Alphabits!! The number is on the side of this box of nastiness I have in my hand.

Not a good change. Bring back the old honeycombs and alphabets!!!! Not as good flavouring. This cereal is garbage! I looked, and nothing. Corn is sweeter than wheat, but industrial corn is terrible for us.

Nutritionally, these are on par with Cheerios though these things have a little more sugar in them. I found it the other day and we picked up two boxes. I had to find him something else quick before the bus showed up. I ate the cereal for him and it was definitely worse. Is Post trying to go out of business? First they ruin Alpha Bits and then Honey Combs. No store sells them anywhere in my area anymore. Just opened a new box of Alpha Bits. They are bland. Larger letters, less taste, hollow crunch.

Their sales will drop for sure. Totally agreed, I was highly upset after searching high and low for some Alpha Bits cereal and coming across this nastiness of mountainous proportions. My daughter hated it from the first bite. We, too, stocked up on as many of the old boxes as we could find and have been living off those for the past few months. We just reached the end of our last box.

I believe the new and improved Alpha-Bits are slightly lower in carbohydrates. The new number is I began a strict low carb diet last year and checked every box in the cereal aisle. I recall Alpha-Bits being disqualified from my list for being too much over 22, which is my target number.

Now I can enjoy them again but agree with the detractors above regarding taste. I just looked it up. Sorry I said late 90s. They tried making a switch to a healthier version in the late 90s and it was terrible so they switched back.

Maybe Post needs to get the message permanently. Still my favorite treat cereal when they are selling the right formula. Could this be like a New Coke thing to boost sales? I meant to write a review months ago but forgot until I was reminded today. They are tasteless, airy, have a weak crunch, and the jumbo size is plain ridiculous. Today I was shopping at a local independent grocer and found 6 boxes of the original recipe which is what reminded me to write a review. Needless to say I bought all of them but they expire at the end of this month.

The box is a definite improvement. Go back please. With this change to Alpha bits I have bought my last box. As others have said they are terrible now.

Gross, foul, disgusting, retched are how I would describe this new flavor. Box went right in the trash. I need to check every ingredient list before adding a new food to my diet.

I used to love Alpha Bits but they taste terrible. Why did you have to change it. Now these jackholes are attacking our cereal too. I was relieved until I opened the box. Just like everything from my childhood this cereal, my second favorite after Life, is now ruined. As if there were not enough reasons to be disappointed in society today. This new Alpha-Bits formula is terrible. The letters are huge and puffy and the taste is way off. This whole trend to change recipes is out of control. Please call Post if you can,because we need the old formula back. Totally agree, so disappointing. I will not be buying these ever again unless they bring back the old original alpabits.

These new bigger size are tasteless, really bad choice for post. We only have one box left… We ran into the same problem with the pomegranate V8 bars the other year. I wish companies would stop changing and dropping formulas. It makes feeding this kid so hard. The new and improved Alpha-Bits are awful!

I want my money back! Where can I get the original version? Why not keep the original but also make a healthy version for those who want to try that. Completely horrible. My only wish is that the company heads read all of these reviews and return the cereal to what it was or all of our words go nowhere. Many times the sales department drops the cereal instead of admitting they were wrong. They should take the advice from Coca Cola when they brought out their new coke and it flopped.

I completely agree.. The letters are too big and they have no flavor.. I prefer the old Alpha-Bits. New and improved? In my life , there have been few things that have been consistently good. Post cereals have always been one of them. But now they ruined Alpha-bits, and Honeycombs. This, after losing General Mills cereals from our diets earlier this year, to reports of high levels of the pesticide Round up, being found in them. Leave well enough alone!

Stop always degrading quality for profits! I wrote to Post to complain, please do the same. I just called post to complain about honeycombs and alpha bits. When I spoke about the alpha bit letters being larger they said it was done so they would be more legible. She wrote down my complaint and said it would be taken into consideration.

I am from PR and Alpha-Bits was my favorite cereal. They stop selling it for a long time. Around a year ago, I found it in Walmart and was so happy. These new giant puffy soggy letters taste absolutely awful. The hard crunch, the flavor, the requirement to have two bowls in one sitting — all gone! Post has ruined alpha bits. I only hope honey comb is still the way it was.

These new Alpha bits are huge, full of air and taste like cardboard. I just had these for the first time…another of my favorite classic cereals down the drain. These things taste like bloated styrofoam peanuts, but even less flavor! I agree that they taste terrible. The change has ruined my good memories of how much I loved them before.

Unless there is a promise to return them to their original state I will never buy them again. Too bad for you Post and too bad for all of us alphabets lovers. Also Honey Combs are also sliding out of the yummy arena.

Why would a company drastically change the formula so that it tastes nothing like the original product. The ingredients have changed substantially. They removed corn flour and replaced it with wheat starch bleh! I feel like post is trying to put me on an unexplained alphabet diet!

I miss my sweet letters. Do not even waste the coffee sugar on this garbage. Thanks for nothing POST. One more thing, how is a small child supposed to eat letters the size of a silver dollar?

Agree with all the above. I noticed the third ingredient switched from yellow corn flour to wheat starch. Not sure what the significance is of that, though. New and nasty. Now he wants nothing to do with the New and Nasty. The new Alphabets are terrible.

Its like eating a mouthful of sawdust. No taste or texture whatsoever. Post, please bring back the harder and crunchier version.

I too found them tasteless and turning to sawdust texture in my mouth. No more oat taste, just bland vanilla flavor. It was my favorite cereal and I am sad to see it go. I will not purchase it again unless Post goes back to the real Alpha-bits. Wash, sad to hear. Now, even if I do, Inwill have to take a pass. Back to the original, Post.
